For our first group run of the spring we’ll meet at the junction of Old Highway 91 and the Kanarra Mtn Road (north) turnoff near the old motorcycle track at 5:30PM. This will be an out and back on the dirt road and the distance will be runners choice (1 to 10 miles). A loop run including a steep climb would be about 10 miles. There is usually light traffic with occasional dust.
Near the top of the Kanarra Mountain road loop at about 5 miles out – looking north towards Cedar City.
We’ll meet at the West Canyon Park at 8:30 A.M. and run or walk a 5K (3 miles). Our plan is to burn off a few hundred calories before eating Turkey and stuffing later in the day.
We’ll meet at the Aquatic Center parking lot at 7:30 A.M. on Thursday and run a 3 to 5 mile run on a route to be determined by those who show up! Let’s call this our “say goodbye to good running weather” run. Time to think about staying in shape for upcoming winter and spring races. See you there!
Where we run: Cedar Valley and Cedar City.

Do it as a warm-up for the Cedar Half Marathon down the canyon this Saturday! Yes, we’ll probably get rained on. And yes, your shoes will get wet. But it’ll be fun and we can pretend that we’re running in Seattle!
